Great discussions in class today as we thought about what we already know about a Hangi, Te Marae, a Powhiri, Kawa (protocol). We are getting ready for our visit to Owae Marae next week.

Experiencing Marine Reserves

Today we were introduced to what marine reserves are and where they are.
This will be part of our learning this year and we look forward to learning more alongside Mike.

Welcome to 2015.  We are looking forward to a fantastic year with our students/parents/community.

I am excited to be teaching alongside Zoey who is new to our school this year.  I will be teaching mathematics, thinking skills and integrated studies.

I am very excited to be teaching Literacy in Room 13. We have an interactive classroom and I plan to do my best to bring out the best in your child.

I live in Bell Block, with my husband Simon and two sons, Brett (12) and Ross (9). We have enjoyed a fabulous summer by spending time on the beach as Brett and Ross have a new passion ...surfing.

We look forward to a great year together.
